I have a confession to make. I. Love. Basketball. Yes, it’s true I do. I know, I know..I live in Alabama so my first sports love should be football, and I do LOVE watching the Tide play football(Sorry Auburn fans- Roll Tide). However my favorite sport to watch is basketball. Bryan plays basketball and one of my favorite things to do is watch him play in our local church league. Â He is teaching the kids to play and they have such a great time practicing a doing drills. Â It’s obvious that they will also have a love for sports, Yes, including the little princess.
They love watching old footage of Michael Jordan playing, and are learning who plays for what team and such. Â That’s why I am giving them a subscription to Sports Illustrated Kids as one of their Christmas Gifts. Â I think they will truly enjoy reading it.

Baseball is easily my favorite sport. I’m a Cardinal fan and my first child was born on October 23rd, 2004 – the first game of the Cardinals vs. Red Sox World Series. Even though the Cardinals lost, that will ALWAYS be my favorite sports memory. First day as a dad and first World Series as a fan!

I love baseball! We are Sox fans and love going to a game in the summer – there’s nothing like it! The sound of the game on TV is really soothing (I know – weird).
