I went to Publix today and used 2 store coupons and 2 manufacturer’s coupons. I had 2 of the same item and 4 coupons to go along. The cashier scanned 3 coupons, but the 4th didn’t work. She had to ask 3 people what to do and eventually a manager came up and told me I could only use 1 coupon per item. She did end up using all 4 coupons though. Are there some stores that don’t stack coupons?

I’ve seen this happen before. I think the error they see is “Too many coupons” & it happens when you have more coupons than items.

The coupons you were using were perfectly legit, but the register sees it as more than one coupon per item. Anytime this has happened to me the manager has overridden it on the register & it worked fine. I try to avoid it by making sure I having at least as many items as coupons.

    Hope that helps:)

April, The coupons I posted for the cheese are not a match. It’s the 8 oz packages that are on sale & the coupons are for the 16 oz…Sorry!
