You may have already heard about the National Beef Recall that included 22,000 pounds of ground beef that may be contaminated with E-Coli.
I’ve been trying to find good information on which store received the meat for a couple of days now, but trying to find such info is very difficult. The misinformation and contradiction, in fact, can make one very frustrated.
Following is information you need to know from the National Beef USDA Recall:
- The only product included was 10 pound chubs with the brand names National Beef, Naturewell, and Naturesource. You can see a list with all the numbers to look for here.
- They have release a list of stores that may have received the product. This includes Bi-Lo and Winn Dixie stores. You can see a list of the stores here.
Given the amount of beef that was recalled I would assume that more stores will be added to the list.
