I was so excited to be able to do a coupon shopping trip at Publix last night. Our family has been in a bit of crisis mode with my dad in the hospital, but now that he’s home life can get back to semi-normal.  So….I made a big coupon shopping trip to Publix last night to stock us up on groceries.

To my dismay I wasn’t able to print out the Publix Italian Days Coupons before I left so I hadn’t planned to take advantage of those super awesome deals.  HOWEVER, The Italian Days Booklets were sitting right there in my store when I walked in so I was able to use them after all.

After all was said and done I ended up paying $88 plus tax for over $200 worth of groceries PLUS I got tons of things I needed.  I got home late so didn’t get to take a picture, but I’ll list all the details below.

Finish Gelpac – (5) – $1.25/each, They were on sale Buy 1, Get 1 free at $6.99/each.  I use 5 coupons for $2.25/1 from the 01/02/2011 Sunday Inserts SS

Green Giant Frozen Boxed Veggies – (11) – $.50/each, On sale for $1.00.  I used 5 coupons for $.50/2 plus 1 to get 1 for free that I got from Pssst.

Sargento Cheese Shredded – (2) – On sale for $2.00/each

Philadelphia Cream Cheese Minis – (1) – $.59/each, Priced at $1.59, use the coupon for $.50/1 from the 2/6 Smart source insert which doubled.

Pillsbury Crescent Rolls – (4) – $1.27/each, On sale for $1.67, I used 2 coupons for $0.40/2 Pillsbury Italian Meal Breads 1/23/2011 SS Insert (exp 4/16/2011)
which doubled.

Armour Original Meatballs – (1) – $1.95/each, on sale for $2.50/each.  I use one coupon for $0.55/1 Armour Meatballs from the 1/30/2011 SS Insert (exp 3/31/2011)

Sorrento Ricotta – (1) – $1.50/each,  It was on sale for $2.50 & I used a coupon for $1/1 Sorrento Ricotta Cheese from the 2/6/2011 SS Insert (exp 5/6/2011)

Kellogg’s Cereals – (6) – $1.70/each, It’s priced at $4.07, Buy 1, Get 1 Free.  I used 3 coupons for $1/3 Kellogg’s Cereals from the 2/13/2011 RP Insert (exp 3/27/2011)

Tyson Breaded Chicken Patties – (1) – $4.99/each on sale

Publix Milk Gallon – (1) – $3.59/each

Mentos – (2) – $1.00 in Overage, On sale for $.50/each, used 2 of the coupons for $0.50/1 Mentos 2/6/2011 SS Insert (exp 3/30/2011) which doubled.
