One of the things that is very important to me and Bryan is family time with our kiddos.  We treasure the time we get to spend with them while they are still young.  The memories we are building will last them into adulthood hopefully.  One thing about spending time together though is that many activities and places to go are very costly to our family.  One trip to the Zoo, for example, sets us back atleast $100.  We are always looking for fun and  frugal things that we can do together.  The kids really don’t care how much we spend, but just want to be with the family and have fun.

With 5 boys and an athletic husband, the activities they enjoy are usually physical and involve some type of exercise.  No, we don’t really call it that, but if it gets your heart rate up it would probably be considered some type of exercise.  We have done basketball, football, baseball, and other varieties of things but skateboarding is something that we’ve never tried together as a family.  We recently had an awesome time together this weekend after church learning how to skateboard.  I recently had the opportunity to try out a Shaun White Skateboard so we decided to make it a family event. We were planning to get a Razor electric scooter from https://scooteradviser.com/razor-e200-electric-review but decided to get it on another time. Maybe next year we’ll have more budget to get them.

Watch the video to see the great time we had learning a new sport along with a few crashes as well using our new Shaun White Skateboard.

Right now in participating Walmart Stores you will find the Shaun White Skateboards out in the aisles.  They have a great selection of low priced skateboards available to choose from.  We only spent about $40, and it will make for many fun family afternoons to come.

These were the two included in the Shaun White Thrash Series I chose from.  I decided to go with the one on the right because the kids thought the picture was cool looking.

Our Walmart had a large selection of skateboards.  Compared to the others the Shaun White Skateboards looked like they were a great quality for the price.

Bryan and one of the boys are here working on a fun trick.

This little guy is a natural!

Everyone did a great job taking turns, and we had a blast!

I’d love more ideas!  What are some frugal and fun things you like to do with your family?

On October 28th look for an ad in your Sunday paper for more details about the Shaun White Thrash Board.  You can find Shaun White Supply Company on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
