Extreme Couponing on Nightline last night

March 26, 2010 by iGoBOGO

nightline

Did you happen to catch the special on Nightline last night? Just in case you didn’t I just wanted to share it.

Nightline gave $50 each to 2 Extreme Couponers & they had a competition to see who could stretch it the furthest.  It was very interesting!

You should see this guy’s garage!

Go here to see the Extreme Couponing video on Nightline.

My shopping aligns a little closer to the lady in the clip than the guy.  He does a great job, but I don’t have the time or storage to go to that extreme.  Although I do try to keep my weekly grocery budget around $50-$60.

Do you practice any form of extreme couponing?  What do you think about it?

Let’s talk about it.

    Hi Holly,
Jill was someone that more people could relate to. Although Nathan had awesome savings, how many people really have that many coupons to use? I consider myself an extreme couponer but there is no way I have enough coupons to buy that many pouches of tuna and jello! Nor do I need that many! Jill made it so the average person could relate and go home and cook a meal.

I actually interviewed with the producer for this show. Although I can see that I would have been no competition to Nathan!

I totally agree with you Renae! I definitely relate more to Jill.

That would’ve been cool to see you on the show:)
