My family’s absolutely favorite vacation spot is the beach. There are so many things I love about a beach visit like the slow relaxed pace, beautiful weather, opportunity for relaxation, fresh local seafood, and family fun – just to name a few.
Can’t you just imagine yourself in the picture?ÂÂ
There are so many beautiful beaches to choose from, but the one we always seem to keep going back to is Panama City Beach. I have been to other beaches, but I just love Panama City Beach.
Here are some of my favorite things about Panama City Beach:
- The sandy beaches are beautiful. The sand is white and clean, and there is plenty of room for everything from sandcastles, playing frisbee, or just relaxing in the sun.
- Some of my favorite restaurants are in Panama City Beach. Two of our favorites are Pompano’s for Seafood and Margaritaville for a fun atmosphere.
- There are lots of family activities to enjoy. Pier Park is awesome for shopping and family fun. There is also putt-putt golf, go-carts, arcades, and don’t forget about Shipwreck Island, Ripley’s Believe it or Not and Wonder Works.
Last year we were looking for a place to stay for a last minute trip, and I called so many different places and none were in our price range that we could afford at the time.
During my search I happened across Panama City Beach Luxury Properties. I was able to chat with them online through their web site, and they gave me a GREAT deal on a rental condo at Splash. The customer service was wonderful, and the condo itself was perfect! We had such a great time, and can’t wait to go back this year.

My favorite thing to do during a beach vacation is to just sit on the sand and soak up the salt air breezes. It’s hot and humid where I live and in the summer we don’t get a lot of wind.

We have to favs other than the beach. My kids love funland arcade and we love to eat at boondocks and watch the seaplanes land.

My absolute favorite thing to do on a beach vacation is to lay in a lounge chair on the beach with a book/magazine, frozen drink and enjoy the peacefulness of it all. I am pregnant and due in July, so this would be wonderful after having a baby. My husband and I could have a weekend to ourselves. Ahhhh…. 🙂

Because I’ve been sick for the past 2 years, my disabled twin daughters and I have been unable to afford a vacation at PCB.

I love waking in the morning to go and sit on the porch and watch the waves come in. A day at the beach spending time with my family and then being able to come back in to a relaxing home away from home,
My favorite thing to do on a beach vacation is to sit on my blanket and watch my kids playing in the surf and sand. We look for shells and take walks on the beach at night. No “plans”, no “schedules” and no “problems”. Just good old relaxation and family time!! That is why the beach is my favorite place to go!

Just got married in March… and since I’m due with out second little boy in June .. we didn’t get to go on a honeymoon. I’m DYING to go to the beach…. feel the sand in between my toes and the sunshine on my face! My favorite thing to do at the beach? …breathe! There is no better feeling than waking up, stepping onto the balcony and taking in a deep breathe…. smelling the salt and the crisp fresh air. Its rejuvenating for the mind ,body, and the soul. In that moment….you’re breathing in pure heaven.
The beach has always been 1 of my favorite places to go for a fun relaxing vacation. I can not wait to go mack in the summer when we have a next famaily weekend getaway.

Eating, eating and more eating
Because I work here on the beach I just don’t get a chance to get out and enjoy the benefits of living here. Lots of family come in to enjoy my beach…Wish I could too. If I win I would make it a point to take some time off work (no vacations !) and enjoy the way all the tourists do.

My favorite thing to do at PCB is to relax and let the sound of the surf melt everything else away. PCB IS OUR FAVORITE VACATION DESTINATION!
My wife and I are blessed with twin 15 year old (boy and girl). So when we do take a vacation we enjoy going to Panama City where my son and I love to fish the county and city piers while my wife and daughter love shopping your stores at pier park. My wife and I love waking up to seeing the sun rise over the ocean and time alone just sitting on the beach listening to the ocean and sea gulls there is peace on your beach we do not get elsewhere. We all love the food and enjoy catching fresh seafood and cooking that evening. The water is so clear and the sand so white we try to get a family picture each trip. We enjoy the whole Panama City Beach experience it is a family fun and safe place to relax and unwind from a year or more of stress at back work and school.

I have been going to Panama city beach since a little girl now I have a 9 month old little boy that I would love to take to the beach. I still to this day remember being on the beach. My whole family is going this summer but we don’t get to go because I couldn’t get off work so it would be amazing to win this trip so I can finally take my little boy to see the amazing beaches of Panama city beach!!!!

We LOVE Pensacola and Panama City! We come every year to watch the Blue Angels fly during their summer airshow over the Gulf! Its GREAT! We love swimming in the Ocean~the water is BEAUTIFUL and the white sandy beaches are so relaxing! We make photos on the beach and have the BEST time there!! My favorite thing to do on the beach… well that’s hard to choose because I just love the beach in general! For me, it’s about mind-healing and relaxing. The beach is just something that I need ATLEAST once a year, and not just any beach! It has to be panama city beach! I love spending time with my family there. I love the sound of the waves and the warm sun with sand under my feet. So I guess my favorite thing to do, would be to just enjoy it while I can!

-I love it all but my favorite is just walking near the shore line, feeling the warm water and sand, loving the breeze on my face, smelling the ocean, watching the birds and crabs, hearing the waves and laughter of others. It’s as close to heaven as we have on earth.
I enjoy soaking up the sun and eating great seafood.

You know, I guess my favorite thing to do is to take my ice chest to the beach around evening time – “drink-thirty” – & make cocktails for my group “in the cool of the evening”….

Love just waking up to a sunrise over the ocean and spending time with my husband and kids on the white sands and seeing our twins enjoy the water….all of this with absolutely no plans for the day but to relax in PCB…..
My favorite thing to do during a beach vacation is reading a good book on the beach while listening to the waves! So calming and relaxing!!
Waking up early – sitting on balcony listening to the waves & drinking my coffee. Then spending the day soaking up all the sun I can get and cooling off with a dip in the most beautiful water ever. Gulf!

I love spending time at the beach with my husband and daughter. Our lives are so hectic with work, school and sports schedules so I love to go to the beach and just relax with them and do whatever whenever we want. No time restrictions!

Favorite thing to do during my beach vacation… since I like going to Panama City Beach, my favorite thing to do is to hang out at at Noah’s Ark retreat center. Live music and good times…

Pier Park is one of my favorite places to visit in Panama City Beach. Wonderful restaurants to meet friends and dine and good shopping. Cannot beat that combination.

Beautiful Sunrises
I love to swim in the ocean, float and ride on the waves.
I love just being able to relax on the sand in the sun with my family. No worries and no disruptions, pure fun family time!
I would love to take my best friend to the beach and meet my cousin there so we can have a reunion!
