This is one of our favorite dishes for fall. Sweet potatoes are cheap and plentiful right now and so yummy! This Crockpot Chicken and Sweet Potatoes Recipe is so easy to just throw in the Crockpot and enjoy a few hours later.
I threw this together one Sunday morning before church and we came home to this delicious dish which is now one of our favorites. I used sweet potatoes I got in my Grow Alabama box, but this would be a great use for the ones that go on sale this time of year!
This is also a great way to use those Buy 1, Get 1 Free Chicken Thighs from Winn Dixie. I used the thighs in this recipe, but Chicken breast will work great too. You could even use bone in chicken if that’s what you have on hand.
