Brown Bear K-Cups Craft

The books Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See and We’re Going on a Bear Hunt bring back so many sweet memories for me.  My kids loved those books so much when they were smaller. They are definitely ones that I won’t be parting with anytime soon even though we haven’t cracked them open in years.  Ours are a little worn, but hopefully they will hang in there until my kiddos are old enough to read them to their children one day.  If you have a little one who LOVES these books as much as we did then they will definitely appreciate this fun K-Cup Brown Bear Craft. Here’s how to do it:

First you will need to gather a few supplies.  Isn’t that the cutest paper?

You will need the following:

  • Clean, used k-cups
  • brown spray paint
  • dark brown craft foam
  • light brown craft foam
  • large black Sharpie marker
  • scissors
  • googly eyes
  • pencil or a pen
  • glue stick

Directions –

#1. Spray the k-cup in a well ventilated area and let dry. If needed, spray again with a second coat to get spots you may have missed the first time and let dry.
#2. Use the top of the k-cup to trace a circle on the dark brown craft foam for the bear’s head and cut out using the scissors.
#3. Cut 2 small circles from the dark brown craft foam for the bear’s ears and attach with the glue stick.
