7 good reasons to shop at Winn Dixie

Winn Dixie is a great place to shop. They have great deals combined with a great coupon policy.

Here are 7 good reasons to shop at Winn Dixie:

  • Winn Dixie doubles coupons up to $.50. That means a $.50 coupon is actually worth $1.00.   Note: Not all stores double North & Central Alabama, Columbus Ga, & other locations do.  If your store doubles it will be in the ad.
  • Winn Dixie has great meat deals, and their meat is top notch.  Each week they have some type of meat at a stock up price.  They also have many buy 1, get 1 free meat deals.
  • Winn Dixie always has items buy 1, get 1 free or 50% off.  You can use 2 coupons on a buy 1 get 1 free deal to get extra savings.
  • Winn Dixie has several items each week that are 10 for $10. You don’t have to buy 10 items to get them for $1.00, but it’s typically a great price.
  • Winn Dixie has an awesome Baby Club. You can join the baby club and get valuable coupons as well as $10 back for every 200 points you accumulate.

  1. The WinnDixie is Chalkville never hands out coupons with your receipt. I don’t know if they don’t have the machines or not now. When I called & asked, they also said that they do not double coupons.

  2. Hey April,

I just checked the Chalkville ad & it says on the front that they double coupons.

The cash register automatically does it so it’s likely that the person you asked is just unaware.

As for the coupon machines..they do sometimes malfunction so maybe that’s the case at this store. Hopefully they’ll get that taken care of soon because they are usually pretty good coupons.

  3. I am in LOVE with WD! Ours does not double coupons, but I still get amazing deals every week, with a little work and research. 🙂

  4. Hey Jessica, Winn Dixie Stores do not officially take competitor’s coupons like Publix.

However, I have heard of some stores that will take them as a courtesy to their customers. None of mine do that I know of, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt to ask!
