Make Your Own Natural Cleaning Products

Essential Oils are a great addition to your cleaning routine as they offer great properties from being a disinfectant, antifungal, and working against mold, mildew, and hard water stains.

All Purpose Cleaner

This recipe is safe to use on all surfaces, and is leaves an amazing scent behind. It works well on grease, smudges, and stains on countertops, tables, and appliances.

 

Glass Cleaner

 

With this glass cleaner recipe, you’ll leave a sparkling shine over smudgy handprints and dusty surfaces. Peppermint Oil and Lemon oil leave the glass streak free and cuts through the dirt.

 

Bathroom Disinfectant Cleaner

 

Tea tree oil is a great disinfectant and anti fungal oil. It can be used to rid your bathrooms of germs, mold, and mildew. Cedar Wood is also a great piney scent to use in toilets and in bathtubs that also works the same way.

 

Natural Scrub Mix

  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1 tsp. castile soap
  • 1 tsp. white vinegar
  • ¼ cup water (or add until desired consistency)
  • 15 drops lemon oil

 

This is an amazing mix that will scrub any kitchen sink, bathroom, tub, and can also be used a toilet scrub. Either apply directly on the surface you want to scrub down, or place this mixture into a squeeze tube container.

 

Wood Floor Cleaner

  • 1 bucket hot water
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • 10 drops of tea tree oil

Tile/Laminate Floor Cleaners

Both of these recipes work great on cleaning floors and leave no streaks behind. Be sure you go over the areas well and do not leave excess water so it can dry naturally.

You are also able to store these products up to 2 weeks, but it is recommended that you make them fresh every other time you clean.
