Publix Coupon Matchups

There are tons of great BOGO deals at Publix for the ad that starts this week.  These deals start Wednesday in Alabama and most other areas, and they start Thursday in Florida.

    Hello, My husband and I are moving to Beaufort SC for retirement in midJuly. There is a Publix a few miles from my home but do you know if SC doubles coupons and offers the 5% senior discount on wed? If not, Publix Corp will be hearing from me. yep!!

    Hi Nancy,

    Congratulations on your retirement…That sounds wonderful! Most Publix stores in SC do double so you should be good there.

    Also, the senior discount is standard across the company so you should be able to get it as well.

    I live near Nashville, does Publix double hear, and do they have 5% for seniors?

      Hi Dan,

      Yes, Publix in Nashville does double coupons up to $.50. Also, they should also have the 5% discount as that is company wide. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    I live in Spring Hill, Florida and I have not heard of the 5% senior discount on Wednesdays. Guess I will be calling Publix near me and asking……..

      Hi Patricia,

      I just found out today that Publix Florida MAY not offer the discount. I am going to contact them today to find out for sure because I don’t want to be giving out incorrect info. Sorry for the confusion. I’ll post back here when I find out.

        I just heard back. Here is their response:

        “As a competitive response to other supermarkets, we do offer a senior discount in our Atlanta Division stores on Wednesdays for customers age 60 and older. This encompasses Tennessee and the northern portions of Alabama, South Carolina, and Georgia. However at the present time, we do not have any plans to expand the program beyond that market. If you are unsure if your area offers this discount, please check with the store manager.”
