It’s almost that time! Turkey day is right around the corner. Families in the US will be joining together to show how thankful they are for one another and for a lovely meal but together by their loved ones. When I was a kid we always spent Thanksgiving at my grandmother’s house. She makes the best dressing, and we always had such a great time. One thing I remember fondly is having to sit at the kid’s table for thanksgiving. There were lots of grandkids, but we didn’t mind being banished to the smaller table. It was always so much fun. This recipe would be a great table decoration and fun dessert for the kid’s table this year. These Pilgrim Hat Marshmallow pops are so easy to make and so cute!
You just need a few simple ingredients.
First you want to melt the chocolate. Then put a stick into one of the marshmallows and dip into the chocolate to coat.
Next you will dip the striped side of the cookies into the chocolate to cover.
Once that’s done just add the finishing touches. Read below for the recipe.
- 6 Regular Marshmallows
- 1/2 cup Dark Cocoa Candy Melting Chips
- 1/8 cup Yellow Candy Melting Chips
- 1/4 cup Black Candy Melting Chips
- 6 Fudge Stripe Cookies
- 6 Sticks
- Heat Dark Cocoa Candy Chips by microwaving for 30 seconds stirring and repeating until melted. Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes.
- Insert stick in each marshmallow.
- Dip marshmallow in melted candy and roll to coat completely.
- Immediately place in refrigerator for 10 minutes to set candy mix.
- Dip striped side of cookie in candy and place smooth side down on wax paper and place in refrigerator to set.
- Heat Black Candy Chips in small bowl by microwaving for 30 seconds stirring and repeating until melted.
- Carefully remove stick from marshmallow. Dip bottom of marshmallow in black candy to create hatband.

- Reinsert stick.
- Immediately place in refrigerator for 10 minutes to set candy mix.
- Heat Yellow Candy Chips in small bowl by microwaving for 30 seconds stirring and repeating until melted.
- Transfer Yellow chocolate to small plastic bag and clip very tiny piece of corner to use for piping.
- Pipe Yellow Onto fron of hatband to make buckle.
- Immediately place in refrigerator for 10 minutes to set candy mix.
