I don’t usually shop in the middle of the week, but I had to take one of my little ones to the dentist and was able to hit the grocery store sales on the first day. I decided I really wanted to do a Winn Dixie shop this week because I was out of Ground Beef & that is not a good thing around here.

Winn Dixie has ground beef on sale for $1.99/lb this week so I decided to go stock up.  There are also several other Great Deal at Winn Dixie this week I wanted to take advantage of.

This week I was able to get $143 worth of Groceries for only $48.   It doesn’t look like a whole lot, but I did get to stock up on Ground Beef which I didn’t have a coupon for.

Here’s a breakdown of my trip:

Sargento Fancy Cheese on sale for $2.50/each, I got 2 with no coupons so paid $5

Ground Beef – About 6 .5 lbs at $1.99/lb so $12.89 *That’s where a huge chunk of my total came from

Colgate Wave Toothbrushes on sale for $1.67.  I bought 6 & used 6 coupons for $.40 off 1 which doubled making them $.87/each.  Total was $5.22 for all 6.
Note: I don’t usually recommend paying this much for toothbrushes, but my stockpile is gone, I’m out, needed new ones & didn’t want to hit any drugstores that day.

Cool Whip Topping(8) Buy 1 Get 1 Free at $2.00/each.  I had 4 coupons for Free Cool Whip I received last week.  I used them on the ones I had to pay for & got 4 for free – so in all I got all 8 for FREE.

Honey Nut Cheerios On Sale Buy 1 Get 1 Free at $4.29, I bought 2 and used a coupon for $1.00 off 2 which made it $3.29 for 2.

Parkay Margarine on sale for $1.00/each, I bought 2 & used a coupon for $.75/2 to get them for $.63/each.

Bailey Coffee Creamer on sale for $2.00.  This wasn’t on my list, but I saw coupons right in front for $1.00 off making them $1.00/each so I splurged on 2!  Yummy!

Mt. Olive Pickles on sale Buy 1, Get 1 free at $2.99, I bought 10 & used 10 coupons for $1.00 off making them $.50/each.  I know 10 is alot, but 1 jar is a snack around here – My kids love them and at $.50 each I’m stocking up!

Pam Spray on sale Buy 1 Get 1 Free at $3.39, I bought 2 & used 2 coupons for $.40 off which doubled making them $.90/each.

Mott’s Applesauce on sale buy 1, get 1 free at $2.99.  No coupons but these were the giant jars which were $1.50/each after the BOGO.

Wesson Vegetable Oil on sale buy 1, get 1 free at $3.79.  I bought 2, but only had 1 coupon for $.35 off which doubled making them $1.55/each.

I also had a coupon for $5.00 off a $55 purchase which I presented before my other coupons.

My total with tax was $48.72

Here’s a really cool part! I was able to attend Save Up 10 last week in Chicago where they gave each of us a $50 Gift Card!  So…..I used it to pay for my trip.

Which means…

Total Out of Pocket —- $0!

So I know that’s rare, but it was nice nonetheless!
