Do you ever have one of those weeks where you just don’t feel like doing a big shopping trip? I did last week! We were going going going all week and I just didn’t want to go back out so I decided to pop in Aldi’s while I was already out to grab my groceries for the week without coupons.
Aldi’s is a GREAT place to do this because you really can save at Aldi’s if you don’t use coupons. See 6 ways to Save Money at Aldi’s for more info on that!
I have been craving some Chili lately since the weather has turned cooler so I knew I wanted some beans & ground beef, but I also got some other nice deals. Here’s what I got:

I went in with a goal of not spending over $50 and I was right on it with $45.03 plus tax which came out to be $49.53. Plus…I got some good groceries that we’ll need to make our meals for the week!
I’ve been shopping at Aldi more and more lately. You can’t exactly get things for free but if it’s something I need and don’t have a coupon for, they have the best rock-bottom prices in town. It’s a no muss, no fuss kinda place and I love it! Plus, my girl thinks putting in the quarter to get a shopping cart is the coolest thing ever! 😉
Last week when I was there, they had boneless skinless chicken breasts for 1.69/lb. That’s the cheapest I’ve seen in years.

I picked up 5lbs of chicken last week too and the 10lbs of potatoes for $3. You cannot beat thier produce prices. I got the $2 pumpkins awhile ago and they were HUGE and this week we made our jackanturn and had enough carvings for a yummy pumpkin pie!
