One of our favorite things to eat is pizza! We usually eat pizza at least once every couple of weeks around here. My kiddos also really love it. However, after years of store bought pizzas I decided to make my on with the kiddos to help. They absolutely loved it! My kids love helping me cook, but I really think this was their favorite of all times. They had a great time putting all the toppings on, spreading the crust & more!
It was soooo good! It’s gonna be really hard to go back to the other kind after this. Here’s my recipe:
Ingredients
Refrigerated Canned Pizza Crust
2 Cups Mozzarella Cheese
Hunt’s Tomato Sauce(1 Can)
1/8 cup sugar
1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
Desired toppings
Directions
Roll the crust out onto a pizza pan or cookie sheet.
Mix the Hunt’s tomato sauce, Sugar, and Italian Seasoning in a bowl.
Spread over the crust.
Add Cheese over top
Add various toppings as desired.
Bake according to package instructions.

I use frozen bread dough loaves for our pizzas. Thaw the night before or quick thaw in a warm oven for an hour. Five loaves for around $3 = .60 a loaf/pizza crust.
That’s a great idea & much less costly! Next time I was thinking of making my own in the breadmaker.
For a change of pace, try making the pizza as a calzone. Just put on half of the dough, then fold and bake. My kids love it like this. Also, Publix and sometimes Walmart will have pizza dough premade in the deli. If your Publix takes Target (like here in Trussville) then you can use the $.50 off deli item off the fresh dough.
