I think this is one of my favorite times of the year. Gardens are producing and fresh veggies are in abundance. One of the drawbacks, however, is that preparing fresh veggies sometimes takes a bit longer in prep time and cooking time. Bryan’s parents gave us a big mess of green beans last week to cook, and so I decided to try to cook them in the slow cooker.
It worked so well and was so super easy that I really wanted to share the recipe. I made a huge pot full, and it fed my family for 3 separate meals as a side dish. Enjoy!
